He was predeceased by: his parents, George Dewing and Mildred Dewing (Dowling). He is survived by: his sons, Patrick (Jessica) and Tom (Alicia); his grandchildren, Porter, Molly and Clark; his siblings, Carol Dewing-Covell, Janet Pacheco (Dewing), Charles Dewing, Tucker Dewing and Doris Dewing; and his close friend Helen Rosenkrantz.
