He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Ellis and Allene Ellis (Brigham); and his siblings, Elma Card, Cecelia Bicknell, Howard, Robert and Ernest Ellis.
He is survived by: his wife Louise Ellis (Knapp); his daughters, Deborah Fuller (John), Catherine Curtiss (Bruce), Rene Painter (David) and Margaret Ellis Gates; his grandchildren, Jennifer Fuller, John Ray Fuller (Jay), William Fuller, Maxwell Curtiss, Samantha Painter, Danielle Painter, Andrew J. Gates, Samuel Gates and Ava Gates; his sisters, Julia Kulas and Shirley Uhrinec (Peter); and his sister-in-law Beverly Strong. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
