It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Paul Labosky of Johnson City, New York, born in Olyphant, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 4, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Kathryn Labosky (Semonick) and George Labosky; his wife Caroline (Cruise); and his granddaughter Emily Ann. He is survived by: his children, Jane (Phil Hores) of Graham, NC, Diane (Mark Cleveland) of Ovid, NY, Karen (David Catallozzi) of Shrewsbury, MA, Matthew (Colleen) of Binghamton, NY and Timothy (Amy) of Apalachin, NY; his grandchildren, Jessica (Steve), Janelle (David), Jacquelyn (Ben), Jennifer (Chris), Evan, Ryan, Melissa (Zachary), Anthony (Meghan), Megan, Kathryn, Aleksander, Nicholas and Tess; his great grandchildren, Elliott, Frannie, Clara, Caroline, Lando, Elle, Emmitt, Grace, Madeline, Rosie, Cecilia and Vanessa; and his siblings, Joseph (Linda Labosky) and Martha (Dale Farwell). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 20th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Barber Memorial (428 Main St, Johnson City, NY 13790). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 21st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the All Saints' Episcopal Church (475 Main St, Johnson City, NY 13790).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Paul's name to any of the following organizations which were important to him: All Saints' Episcopal Church, Johnson City, NY; St. Paul's Episcopal Church, New Smyrna Beach, FL; American Diabetes Association; or Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
