With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Mary M. Heslin of Johnson City, New York, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Mary left this world on November 15, 2024 at the age of 80, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John P. Hawley (Jack) and Catherine McCabe Hawley (Kitty); and her husband Thomas B. Heslin of Binghamton, NY.. She is survived by: her children, Julie Purtell (Daniel Wimer) and Robert Purtell (Lee Ann); her grandson Pierce Wimer; her siblings, Katherine Haley, Michael Hawley, Janice Toolan and John Hawley; her friend Horseheads; her stepchildren, Jennifer Woolslayer (Robert), Brendan Heslin (Pina) and Matthew Heslin (Ingrid); and her stepgrandchildren, Cay, Christopher and Courtney. She is also survived by many nephews and nieces as well as great-nephews and nieces.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the J. A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, Inc. (141 Main St, Binghamton, NY 13905). A Mass will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 9:30 AM at the St. Patrick's Church (9 Leroy St, Binghamton, NY 13905). A burial will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at the Calvary Cemetery (501 Fairview St, Johnson City, NY 13790).
