He was predeceased by: his parents, Joanne Ather (Richard) and John S Boyett (Patricia); his brother Donald Boyett (Marla); his stepbrother Roger Harrison; his former wife Barbara Boyett; and his daughter Kimberly Boyett.
He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Robinson-Boyett; his children, Tia Pangburn, John Boyett II and Reyan Hodges (Ryan); and his siblings, Michael Boyett of Colorado, Gary Bennett of California and Kimberly Hernandez (Jimmy) of California. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.
