He was predeceased by: his parents, Doris Komorny and Francis Komorny Sr.; his daughter Noelle; his nephew Colin Murray; and his sister Dodie Clements.

He is survived by: his wife Amy; his daughter Michaela (Shelly); his son-in-law Scott Maslar; his grandsons, Zachary and Justin Maslar; his nephew Jordan (Emily Murray); his sister Judi; and his brother-in-law Dan Murray. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
