He was predeceased by: his brother Joseph Stastny; his son Mark Stastny; and his grandson Matthew Stastny. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Stastny; his son Christopher; his daughter-in-law Renee Stastny; his grandchildren, Michael and Mia Stastny; his siblings, Mary Carlson and Rudolph; and his sister-in-law Judith Stastny. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and many friends.
