It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Douglas Leo Fairbairn of Johnson City, New York, who passed away on September 5, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Fairbairn and Alta Fairbairn (Ellis); his wife Marilyn Louise Kuntz Fairbairn; and his brothers, Dale and Ellis Fairbairn.
He is survived by: his children, Thomas Fairbairn (Leslee), Timothy Fairbairn, Mary Bartholomay, Michael Fairbairn (Christine) and Julie Hamm (Darrin); his grandchildren, Alicia Fairbairn, Macy Fairbairn, Dan Bartholomay (Cori), Emily Bartholomay (Kurt Borner), Joshua Fairbairn (Audrey), Devin Hamm and Trevor Hamm; his great grandchildren, Gatlin Bartholomay and Maverick Borner; and his nieces, Gail Brennan and Karen Pufky.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 12th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Barber Memorial (428 Main St, Johnson City, NY 13790). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 13th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
