He was predeceased by: his siblings, John Gilda and Caryl Wilson. He is survived by: his wife Justine Gilda; his sister Gayle Tabert (Robert); his sons, Alan Gilda (Leslie) and Glenn Gilda (Mary); and his granddaughter Elizabeth Mazzarese (Rich).
