He was predeceased by: his parents, Connie King and Monroe King; his brother Richard King; his wife Eileen Johnson-King; and his children, Machalle and Edward Serow.

He is survived by: his daughter Shamane; his son-in-law Greg; his brother Robert; and his grandchildren, Matthew, Briana, Rondi and Phillip. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and 6 great grandchildren.
