He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Phelps and Pauline Phelps; and his siblings-in-law, Fran Hardt and Gerlando Cuffaro. He is survived by: his wife Mary Phelps; his children, Mark, Jeffrey Phelps, Laurie (Edward Wood) and Kristen (Jeffrey Peake); his sisters, Julia Cuffaro and Theresa (Donald Corwin); and his granddaughters, Kennedy Ross, Alexandra Peake and Lauren Peake.
