With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Walter J. Peters of Jeffersonville, New York, born in Queens, New York, who passed away on October 18, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Elimar and Helen Rasch Peters; and his siblings, Andrew Peters, Fredrick Peters, Carol Luciano and Lorraine Kuebler.
He is survived by: his wife Betty L. Schaefer Peters; his sons, Kevin Peters (Bonnie), Douglas Peters of Buck Brook, NY and Craig Peters of Jeffersonville, NY; his sister Barbara Festa; his grandchildren, Derek Austin, Jackie Poley (Chris), Tylor Peters, Trevor Peters, Dylan Peters and Paige Ottino; and his great grandchildren, Genavieve Poley and Jack Poley. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
