He is survived by: his wife Pearl L. Tibbetts Gain; his children, Cynthia P. Ward and John C. Gain III; his daughter-in-law Suzanne of Groton, NY; his siblings, Ronald Gain (Leandra) of Fort Myers, FL, Thomas Gain (Sandra) of Kenoza Lake, NY and Alice Gain Diehl (Peter) of Callicoon, NY; his grandchildren, Nikole Quanz (Michael), Brett Ward and Jordan Gain (Britt); and his great grandchildren, Kinsly and Archer. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
