We bid farewell to Helen G. Hanslmaier of Jeffersonville, New York, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 3, 2025 at the age of 86. Helen touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Olsen and Sarah Segar Olsen; her brothers, George Olsen, Jr., Howard Olsen and Melvin Olsen; her brothers-in-law, Charlie Baker, Ellis Hanslmaier and Robert Hanslmaier; and her grandson Derrick Hanslmaier.
She is survived by: her husband Charles Hanslmaier; her children, Diane McGrath (Michael) and Edward Hanslmaier (Jeanne); her grandson Dillian Hanslmaier; her siblings, Marian Baker and Herbert Olsen (Donna); and her siblings-in-law, Joan Woods, Vivian Hanslmaier and George Hanslmaier (Lillian). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Harris Funeral Home - Roscoe (11 Railroad Ave, Roscoe, NY 12776). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
