He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Barney and Catherine Barney (Cook); and his siblings, Irving and Mary Secor. He is survived by: his wife Sarah Barney; his children, Sonya Barney (Paul Vandermill) of Adams Center, Donna Jackson of Rome, Dale Morrow of Watertown, Douglas Barney (Melissa) of Las Vegas and Irving Barney (Althea) of Vernon; his grandchildren, Dana Huber, Jay Jackson, Danielle Peters, Alexis Ebberly, Kelsey Espina, Kiara Barney and Nyah Barney; and his sister Aretta Waite of Watertown. He is also survived by two great grandchildren.
