She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Baxter and Katherine Baxter (Sixberry); and her husband Isaac "Ike" F. Simmons. She is survived by: her stepdaughters, Nikki Shampine of Carthage, Kristi Simmons of Carthage and Jessica Marquette of Watertown; and her siblings, Jim Baxter (Lillian) of Ohio, Larry Baxter of Carthage, Carrie Crandall (Herbert) of North Carolina and Beverly Baxter Brown of Carthage. She is also survived by several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
