He is survived by: his wife Diann Irene Brown; his children, Dawna Anderson (Jay) of North Carolina, Jonathan (Jack), Hayes (Susan) of Jasper, Andrew (Andy), Rebecca (Becky) and Lane (Steven) of North Carolina; and his siblings, Patricia Allaire of North Carolina, Frederick Hayes (Miriam) of North Carolina, Linda Breakey (David) of West Virginia and Cora Mullinax of North Carolina. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
