He is survived by: his wife Peggy Rice of Hornell; his children, Karen Rice, Monica Flaitz (Tom), James Rice Jr (Regina) of Lockport, NY, Somerset of Lockport, NY and Richard Rice of Lockport, NY; and his grandchildren, Donald Lewis (Jackie), Brett Flaitz (Heather Kriner), Jason Flaitz (Jennifer), Jamey Rice (Frankie), Daniel Rice (Tammie), Christopher Rice (Kristen), Micah Rice (Sandy), Eric Rice, Andrea Rice and Timothy Rice.
