He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Heckman and Ruth Heckman (Grist); his wife Barbara Argo; his son Howard W. Heckman; his grandson Michael C. Heckman; his daughter-in-law Vanessa Heckman; and his brothers, George and Seymour Heckman.
He is survived by: his sons, Michael Heckman of Jasper and John Heckman (Donna Brooke) of Springfield, MA.; his brother Howard "Bub" Heckman (Carolyn) of Jasper; and his friend Nena Kelley of Jasper. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
