She was predeceased by: her husband Athanas Anastasiou; and her parents, Stefanos Christou and Alexandra Christou. She is survived by: her children, Sofia Vasiliou (Mike), Maria Peios (Vasilios) and George Anastasiou (Aliki); and her sister-in-law Olga Ioannou (George).

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to St. Sophia's Iconography Fund, St. Sophia's Greek Orthodox Church, 325 Waring Rd., Syracuse NY 13224.
