She was predeceased by: her sisters, June Bell and Helen Baze. She is survived by: her husband James Abbott; her children, James H. Abbott Jr (Sidney), Thomas F. Abbott (Kathy) of Durham and Amy Abbott of Stamford; and her grandchildren, Sean, James and Jackson. She is also survived by one niece and three nephews.
