She was predeceased by: her parents, May Powell and T. Louis Powell. She is survived by: her husband Norman; her children, Dr. David Speach (Elissa), Lisa Abbe (Stephen), Brian Speach (Theresa), Miss Pamela Speach and Dr. Erica Menar (Bryan); her grandchildren, Dr. Gabby Girgis (Sherif), Joseph Speach (Mary Eve), Hannah Speach, Clarie Speach, Daniel Abbe, Christopher Speach, Kevin Speach, Sophia Menar, Michael Menar, Thomas Menar, Nicholas Menar and Maria Menar; her great grandchildren, Mary, Lucy and Peter Girgis; her brother-in-law Ronald Speach; and her niece Christa Speach.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Daniel Church (3004 Court St, Syracuse, NY 13208). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Entombment will follow at St. Mary's Mausoleum, Dewitt NY, In lieu of flowers, Contributions may be made in Joanne's honor to Francis House and St. Daniel Church.
