He was predeceased by: his former wife Betty G. Shaffer; his parents, Arthur Shaffer and Lillie Shaffer; and his grandson Michael Paul. He is survived by: his wife Mary Paul Shaffer; his children, Terry (Penny) of Asbury Park, NJ, Arthur (Myle) of Everett, WA., Elizabeth Tily of Jamesville, NY, Steven (Linda) of Corpus Christi, TX, Gregory (Kim) of Phoenix, NY and Eric of Phoenix, NY; his stepchildren, Karen Depue of North Webster, IN, Susan Paul Saladino of Buffalo, NY, Robert Paul of Navarino, NY and Michael Paul (Mary) of Jamesville, NY; and his siblings, Douglas (Jill) of Sebring, FL and Dianne Nalin (Carlo) of Princeton, NJ. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
