She was predeceased by: her parent Julius Goranson; her husband Walter W. Strand; and her siblings, Julieanne Charles, Virginia Yonkers, Mildred Christensen, Marvin Yonkers Sr., Herman Carl "Bud" Yonkers Jr. and Robert Lee Yonkers.
She is survived by: her parent Jeannette Johnson Goranson; her children, Keith A. Olson (Sonya) of Virginia and Lorie Brown (James) of Greensboro, PA; and her siblings, Barbara Yonkers, Lucille Hall (William), Paul Goranson (Delores) of Jamestown and Norman Yonkers (Judy) of Jamestown. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
