With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sharon Stapleton (Jamestown, New York), born in Philipsburg, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 27, 2024 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, may Sharon find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may her legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Wickliff Vogle and R. Kay Barger Vogle; and her sister Alta Vogle. She is survived by: her husband David Stapleton; and her siblings, Michael Vogle (Julie Vogle) of Jamestown and Susan Humphreys of Jamestown.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lind Funeral Home (805 W 3rd St, Jamestown, NY 14701). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Luke's Episcopal Church (410 N Main St, Jamestown, NY 14701).
