She is survived by: her son-in-law Avik; her husband Ranjit Laha, MD; her daughter Rani; her siblings, Jaganmohan (Chandrakala) and Indira (Lakshman); her nieces and nephews, Kalyan (Divya), Srinivas, Narender (Sandhya), Diwaker (Anita), Siddhartha (Rachael), Rama (Raja), Himabindu (Venkateshwar), Deepika (Narsing), Divya (Jaipal) and Ramya Enganti; and her brother Sudhaker Balmuri (Neeraja).
