Ronald Payne Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 15, 2023, at the age of 67, Ronald Payne of Jamestown, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roger Payne and Louise Friberg Payne. He is survived by: his siblings, Michael Payne (Debbie) of Summerville, SC, Holly Payne of Pittsfield, PA, Lorri Mabee (Gary) of Frewsburg, NY and Jamie Payne (Jessica) of Litchfield, ME.; his significant other Genevieve Fitzgerald Payne; his children, Rachael Stell Griffin of Rochester, NY, Roger Payne (Jennifer) of Arkport, NY, James Payne (Amber) of Bemus Point, NY and Monica Beardsley (Matthew) of Jamestown, NY.; his grandchildren, Julia, Brandon, Reese, Abbey, Ava, Jacey, Chava, Kayne, Hunter and Kiley; and his great-nephew Zayden. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, Red requested donations be made to either St. Jude's Children's Hospital, to work on finding a cure so no child will ever have to suffer from cancer as he did, or to Chautauqua Hospice and Palliative Care, in appreciation for the cheerful, rosy care he received.
