He is survived by: his wife Karen J. Gustafson Oberg; his sons, Christopher Oberg (Narda Gatgen) and Owen Oberg (Patricia); his stepchildren, Lisa Housemann, Randy Sitler and Doug Sitler (Anna); his grandchildren, Bridget, Lorraine, Eric, Payton, Lindsey, Jacob and Josh Oberg; his great grandchild Owen Oberg; his sisters, Cynthia Hile, Judy Saeger and Lorie Robbins (Jesse); and his nieces and nephews, Kelly, Krista, Jason, Nathan and Cole.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Peterson Funeral Home (12 N Pearl St, Frewsburg, NY 14738). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Myers Memorial Library or Zion Lutheran Church.
