He was predeceased by: his parents, Lyle Sager and Grace Hemphill Sager; his wife Luella Farrar Sager (Shorty); and his sister Ada Carol Zahm. He is survived by: his children, Roxanne Meredith (James Herron) of Ashville, Sheila Hyde (Peter) of Ashville, Rodney Sager of Ashville and Bob Sager (Manal) of Buford Georgia; his grandchildren, Christopher Meredith (Angela), Nicole Neubauer (Jon), Jessica Carraher (Marc), Lacey Hyde, Christa Morgan (Elmo), Casandra Anderson (Mike) and Ashley Hansraj (Javon); his brother Alvin Sager (Helen) of Brocton; and his cousin Geraldine Yauchzy of Falconer. He is also survived by 15 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
