He was predeceased by: his parents, Betty Hendrickson Olson and Richard "Dick" Olson; his sister Lori Ann Olson; his aunt Shirley Vario; and his uncles, Paul, George and Alvin Hendrickson.
He is survived by: his sisters, Paula Olson, Sandy Kaups (Karl) and Vicki Peterson (Scott); his nieces and nephews, Aleksa, Jessa Kaups, Sean, Kyle and Erik Peterson; his aunt Lillian Hendrickson; his cousin Bob Goodwill; and his friend Tom.
In lieu of flowers donations in Rick's memory may be made to the Salvation Army of Jamestown (food bank).
