He was predeceased by: his parents, Ethel Holmberg and Axel Holmberg; his son Riki Verganjik; his siblings, Ethel Rutland, Eugene and Roger Holmberg; his daughter Karin Holmberg; his aunt Hilma; his uncle Frank Johnson; and his son-in-law Eric Smouse.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara J Holmberg; his children, Jeffrey Holmberg, Rebecca Howard (Dave), Rachel Szentgyorgyi (Paul), Stephanie Holmberg (Jim) and Crystal Holmberg; his stepson Jordan Clifton; and his grandchildren, Dylan Holmberg, Jeffrey Holmberg, James Smouse, Monica Pacheco, Renee Reithel and Deanna Reithel.
