Kenneth Balling Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 23, 2024, at the age of 68, Kenneth Balling (Jamestown, New York) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Balling and Anna Mae Balling; and his siblings, Thomas Balling, Bernard Balling, Lenore Thompson and William Balling.
He is survived by: his wife Maryann Harris Balling; his children, Amanda Schwartz (Matthew) and Daniel Balling (Ashley); his grandchildren, Clare Mary Schwartz, Charlie Kenneth Balling and William Kenneth Schwartz; his close friend Avery Christine Balling; his pet Jack James Balling; and his sisters, Jean Ryan (Charles), Joan Post (Gregory) and Deborah Balling. He is also survived by his loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lind Funeral Home, Inc. (805 W 3rd St, Jamestown, NY 14701). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Saint Mary of Lourdes Catholic Church (41 Main St, Bemus Point, NY 14712).
Donations in his memory may be made to the Stockton Volunteer Fire Company in honor of Ken's commitment to his community and helping others.
