She was predeceased by: her parents, John Sandlin and Virginia Humfrey Sandlin; her husband David Cummings, Sr.; and her sister Betty Lou Morris. She is survived by: her sons, David Cummings, Jr. and Dana Cummings (Sherri); her daughter-in-law Jeanine Woodard; her grandchildren, Hannah Pavolko (Allen), Ty Cummings (Lindsay), Jennifer Cummings (Mike Henry), Tabitha Minadeo (Ryan), Meg Cummings, Devan Cummings and Molly Cummings; her great grandchildren, Lincoln, Nora, Ezra, Adalynn, Liam, Grace and Willow; and her brothers, Bob Sandlin and Calvin Sandlin. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a humane society of one's choosing.
