He was predeceased by: his father Frank V Privitera; his stepfather Byron Jones; his grandparent Steele; and his sisters-in-law, Sandy Privitera and Theresa Privitera (Jack Moore).
He is survived by: his mother Kathy Jones (Steele Privitera); his siblings, Mike Rock (PA), Frank Privitera (Judy), Pat Privitera (Florida), Don Privitera (Chris), Ron Privitera Jamestown and Joe Privitera (Audrey); and his nieces and nephews, Karen, Lisa, Malisa Shane (NC), Brian, Dakota Olmstead (PA), Angelina, Marcus, Viki Nicole (PA), Ron, Christina, Mike (CO) and Lacy (SC).
In lieu of flowers the family would like to have donations made in honor of Jim's name to up state NY ALS website- eb.als.org or ALS association of Florida website- als.org.
