James I. Blakey Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James I. Blakey of Jamestown, New York, born in Denver, Colorado, who passed away on July 16, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Risdon Luke and Hazel Salters McGlennon Blakey; and his siblings, Delores Lindsey, Dale, William and Paul Blakey.
He is survived by: his wife Melody "Jaggi" Blakey; his children, Eva Andolora (Salvatore), Cassandra Blakey, Amanda (Blakey), Carrie Blakey, Beverly Bowyer (Chris), James Shane Blakey and Kevin Anderson (Krystal); his grandchildren, Tiffany Andolora (Shawn Calhoun), Tavian Wright (Erin McDonnell), True Wright (Ehryn Robinson), Tehya Wright (Ryan Britton), Brandon Andolora, Ashley Moynihan (Chris), Taje Wright (Elizabeth Keech), Tayden Andolora, Sara Blakey, Bethany Blakey, Caleb Blakey, Tristan Hazelton (Zach Shafer), Brandon Hazelton, Savannah Ryan (Tavian), Aiden Hazelton, Saige Pierre, Sa'nai Pierre, Austin Fowler, Logan Fowler (Alex), Mason Fowler, Rylan Fowler, Abbey Anderson, Benjamin Anderson and Emilia Anderson; and his brothers, Gene Blakey (Karen), George Blakey, Robert Blakey and Don Blakey (Esther). He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Powers, Present & Sixbey Funeral Home, Inc. 316 E. 5th Street, Jamestown, N.Y. to help defray the cost of funeral expenses.
