He was predeceased by: his father Robert M. Turner; and his brother Robert M. Turner, Jr.. He is survived by: his mother Helen J. Hall Turner of Lakewood, N. Y.; his sons, James Turner and Michael Turner; and his sisters, Deborah Blake (Tom) of Mt. Horeb, WI, Wendy Whittington (Don) of Lakewood, N. Y. and Jennifer McKay (Keith) of Pooler, GA. He is also survived by several grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
