He is survived by: his children, Don "Dean" Weaver Jr. (Debbie) of Jamestown, Nancy Gilbertsen (Greg) of Powell, OH, Allison Dawson of Estero, FL and Betsy Sicher (John) of Mars, PA.; his grandchildren, Danielle Nesselbush (Dan) of Lakeview, NY, Drew Weaver (Jaime) of Mars, PA, Douglas Weaver (Kristi) of Jamestown, Naomi Gilbertsen of Powell, OH, Ian Gilbertsen of Akron, OH, Trey Dawson of Estero, FL, Madeline Dawson of Washington, DC, Owen Dawson of Estero, FL, Zachary Sicher of Washington, DC, Carli Sicher of Washington, DC and Christopher Sicher of Washington, DC; his great grandchildren, Oliver, Eloise and Emersyn; his sisters, June Kauffmann (Bob) and Marilyn Chudy (Henry); his pet Winfield; and his close friend Biff.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Lind Funeral Home, Inc. (805 W 3rd St, Jamestown, NY 14701). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Christ First United Methodist Church (663 Lakeview Ave, Jamestown, NY 14701).
In lieu of flowers, family and friends may make a donation in Don's name to the Chautauqua Watershed Conservancy, The Lawson Boat Center, or Shriners Children's Hospitals.
