He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph Mende and Margaret Torok Mende; his brother Richard Mende; and his sister-in-law Mary Mende. He is survived by: his niece Doris Johnson (Tom) of Kenmore; his nephew Mark Mende (Susan) of Canton, NY; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Christina Sande (Matthew), Michelle Carestia (Anthony), Thomas Johnson, Eric Mende (Meta) and Matthew Mende; and also, Ava, Maia, Zachary, Lucas and Jacob.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Holy Apostles Parish, SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 508 Cherry Street, Jamestown, NY 14701.
