He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Phelps and Viola Woolf Phelps; and his siblings, Roger Phelps (Mildred), Norman Phelps (Grace), Ella Woolsey (Warren) and Ercel Scarborough (Gerald).
He is survived by: his children, John Phelps (Barbara), Timothy Phelps (Elisabeth) and Lora Keiper (Jim); his sister-in-law Opal Phelps; his grandchildren, Rebecca Embt (Dan), Joshua Phelps, Aimee Keiper (Josey Ferguson), Julia Keiper and Jacob Keiper; and his great grandchildren, Torren, Ellis Ferguson and Theodore Embt. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family, and lifelong friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Christ Chapel (715 Falconer St, Jamestown, NY 14701). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
