Edward T. Langton Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward T. Langton of Jamesport, New York, who passed away on September 15, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Langton and Mary Langton; and his son Edward Joseph. He is survived by: his wife Mary; his family, Edward Joseph, Timothy and Jennifer; his grandchildren, Colin, Quinlan, Meghan and Patrick; and his children, Christine, Timothy (Elizabeth) and Jennifer.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 19th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fairchild Funeral Chapel (1570 Northern Blvd, Manhasset, NY 11030). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, September 20th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St Peter of Alcantara Church (1327 Port Washington Blvd, Port Washington, NY 11050). A burial will be held on Friday, September 20th 2024 from 11:15 AM to 11:45 AM at the Mt. St. Mary Cemetery (172-00 Booth Memorial Ave, Flushing, NY 11365).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the Jennifer Langton Bicentennial Scholar Fund, a tribute that held great significance for Ed, which supports scholarships for deserving young lacrosse athletes.
