He was predeceased by: his parents, Piara Lal Sachdeva and Krishna Wanti Sachdeva; his wife Vijay Sethi Sachdeva; and his siblings, Kiran Sethi (Harvinder Mohan), Satish Sachdeva (Promila), Kamla Thukral (Ram Paul) and Varinder Sachdeva (Poonam).
He is survived by: his children, Kompel Sachdeva Verdi (Michael) and Pankaj Sachdeva; and his brother Subash Sachdeva (Veenu). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
