We are sad to announce that on April 5, 2024, at the age of 59, Russell C. Michael Jr. (Jamaica, New York) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Essie M. Gates and William F. Michael; and his aunt Delores "Dee" Bentley. He is survived by: his parents, Robbie M. Michael and Russell C. Michael Sr.; his siblings, Renee P. Michael and Rodney G. Michael; his godmother Anita L. Smith; his uncle Gordon "Dwight" Gates; his cousins, Vanita Bentley, Najee Muhammed, Lawrence R. Dent, Angel J. Dent and Dwight J. Williford; and his close friend Larrie Taylor. He is also survived by friends, and neighbors.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks for donations to be made in the name of Russell C. Michael Jr. to any of these charitable organizations that were meaningful to him: the American Cancer Society, the National Kidney Foundation, and the American Heart Association.
