She is survived by: her husband Theodore Copeland, Jr.; her children, Valencia Button (Nathan) of Atlanta, Theodore Copeland III, Dana Copeland (Edna) of New Jersey and Melanie (Darren) of Atlanta; her grandchildren, Chaz Porter, Che Foster, Travis Copeland, Neah Williams and Zaria Williams; her sisters, Marsha Tyson (George) of New York and Beulah Mae Spelman of Virginia; and her siblings-in-law, Mary McCullough, Martha Watkins, Freddie Martin, Joan Copeland, Richard Copeland, Bobby Copeland, Robert Copeland, Anthony Copeland and Ermine Speller. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
