It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Muriel Garvin (Jamaica, New York), who passed away on June 19, 2024, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Berniece Rouse and Melvin Wright Sr.; and her significant others, Dennis Garvin and Neil Eaton. She is survived by: her family Muriel; her children, Sean, Monique and Ebony; her daughter-in-law Natasha; her grandchildren, Tyreak Jr., Lyrik and Justice; and her siblings, Pamela, Melvin Jr., Miles and Max. She is also survived by cousins and friends.
Since 2019, Sister Muriel Garvin served as the Secretary of the Ladies of Vision and Excellence chapter of the Eastern Star, embodying the values of charity and compassion.
