He was predeceased by: his parents, James Carter and Martha Ann Strong; his brothers, Rodney Strong and Edward Carter; his father-in-law S. Öztas; his brother-in-law Öztas; and his pet Infinity.
He is survived by: his wife Bey Strong. He is also survived by daughter, two adored grandchildren, his younger sister, beloved aunts and uncles, close cousins, nieces, nephews, and lifelong best friends.
