She was predeceased by: her siblings, Edward McDonald, Lillie Mae McDonald, Margie McDonald, James McDonald and John McDonald; and her son Thomas Kirkland (Lindy).
She is survived by: her husband Conrad R. Byrd; her daughter Carolyn Kirkland; her brother-in-law Jerry Kirkland (Denise); her stepchildren, Michelle, Kelly and Natalie; and her grandchildren, Michael, Morgan, Richard, Evan and Stephanie. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
