She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Marshal and Caroline Marshal; her husband Willie Hodgers; her brothers, Clifton, Franklin, Jaun Fernando and George; and her granddaughter Anastasia.
She is survived by: her children, Bernice Hodgers (Vrinda Dobbins), Stephen Hodgers, Minerva Hodgers, Candida Hodgers and DeShawn Hodgers; her siblings, Simmons, Marius Marshal, Miguel Marshal, Tiolinda Marshal, Junior Marshal, Olga Mendes, Leslie Marshal and Edwin Baptiste; her grandchildren, Shawnda, Brian, Charu, Nisa, Tyshawn, Tayah, Messiah, Isis and Elijah; and her great grandchildren, Ahmir, Brooke-Lynn and Amari.
Viewing will be held on Friday, October 25th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the J. Foster Phillips Funeral Home, Inc. (179-24 Linden Blvd, Queens, NY 11434). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 25th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location.
