He is survived by: his children, Courtney Travis George Jr. and Terresha Ashanti George-Heywood; the mother of his children Yonette George; his grandchildren, Ava, Ethan, Avant George, Destiny, Danika, Daylin, Darnell and Daniel Heywood; his uncle Kenneth Marcus; his nieces and nephews, Denise Bumbury, Junior, Andre, Kwame, Shondell, Saskeia, Kofi, Alpheus George, LaVerne, Duane, LaToya Andrews, Coen Joaquin and Nathan Nkoba; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Devon, Authavia, Alyssa, Kariem, Shaneffa, Shaniah, Makeia, Mia, Shyanne, Isiah, Imani, Andreyella, Tabitha, Tania, Jalyn, Janiah, Angel and Aiden; his son-in-law Dexter Heywood; his siblings-in-law, Forbes McAlmont, Gail George, Wesley Maxwell, Quacy Barker, Denzil Lowenfeld, Onica Barker and Donna Waldron; his parent-in-law Jean Barker; his cousins, Claudette Montrose, Ivelaw Griffith, Audrey Willabus, Lennox, Eslyn, Joycelyn Clarke, Yvette, Egbert, Eldon, Elvin, Faye Burke, Kenrick, Derreck, Jennifer Marcus-Watts, Alwin and Toney Marcus; his friends, Leon St (Nabi), Aubrey Trotman, Aubrey Clarke, Coretta Parris, Ann and Ivor Welch; and also Tracey Spencer.
As a child he attended Salem Congregational School, and was later transferred to Russdale Junior Foundation, a privately owned school that was located in Bar Street Kitty where he completed his primary education.
