With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Udellar M. Moss of Ithaca, New York, born in Eastman, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 26, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Harvard and Josie Harvard (Johnson); and her siblings, Mary, Cleotha, Louis and Sylvester.
She is survived by: her siblings, James Harvard (Stella) of Elmira, NY, Bertha Hogan of South Carolina and Loriane Abrams (James) of Elmira, NY.; her husband Jimmie Lee Moss; her children, Matthew Moss (Alice) of Oxon Hill, MD, Tyde Wells (Linton) of Elmira, NY, Edward Moss of Ithaca, NY, Jerome Moss (Mary Kay) of Fredonia, NY, Bill Moss (Terry) of Ithaca, NY and Renee Bangura (David) of Bladensburg, MD.; and her grandchildren, Derrick, Asha, Charice, Taryn, Sherry, Jermey, Nicole, Thomas, Eli, Shalika, Taleah, Marcus, Hawa and David "Tank". She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Word of Faith Church of God in Christ (356 W Thurston St, Elmira, NY 14901). A celebration of life was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Woodlawn Cemetery (1200 Walnut St, Elmira, NY 14905).
