He is survived by: his wife Joyce Leslie; his son Nicholas Ryan Butler (Elizabeth); his grandchildren, Dylan and Briana Butler; his siblings, Judith Butler of Dedham, MA and Jonathan Rankin (Emily) of Nichols, NY; and his nieces, Andrea McGlew, Donna Parobek and Caroline Traverso.
